5 places to see in the USA

The United States of America has always been the dream destination for millions of people every year. Its territory is so extensive that it presents different climates and natural environments, as well as numerous cities to visit. 

Logically, touring the whole of America in a single trip is practically impossible, even if it is not impossible. Instead, you can opt for different areas or cities depending on your needs and dreams, since every traveler has a list of places to see absolutely.

As for the United States, although difficult, the list would be narrowed to 5 places: New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, the Grand Canyon and San Francisco.

New York City

The main destinations of the “city that never sleeps” are definitely the Brooklyn Bridge, which allows you to have a wonderful view over the entire city, the beautiful Statue of Liberty and the impressive Empire Building. 

Following the memorial of September 11 is a place where time seems to stand still that will give more than one emotion, along with the green Central Park and the colorful Times Square, until you get to the noisy and exciting Broadway. 

A city that has so much to offer tourists thanks to its neighborhoods, its possibilities and its metropolitan views to take your breath away.


Chicago is another of the American metropolises, but its main attractions are in the city centre. The Millennium Park is definitely the jewel of the city, followed by the Pritzker Pavilion and the BP Bridge, from which you can see the skyline of the city that is reflected on Lake Michigan. Among the things to see absolutely there are also the “bean” or The Bean, the nearby Crown Fountain and for lovers of architecture its beautiful modern buildings. 

Here you’ll find America’s tallest building, the Willis Tower, but also the Chicago Board of Trade, the Rookery and the spectacular Monadnock Building. In Chicago there are also a number of museums worth visiting including the Art Institute of Chicago, the Field Museum, the Shedd Acquarium and the Adler Planetarium.

Los Angeles

Los Angeles is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and special cities in the United States, as well as being the real home of the largest studios. Among the places to visit absolutely is Venice Beach, where you can walk on the colorful Venice Boardwalk from where you can admire the city, the Hollywood Boulevard and its Walk of Fame for film lovers and the spectacular Getty Center, huge American museum. Another area to explore is Olvera Street, one of the oldest and most characteristic, but also the complex where the LACMA museum is located to admire the work Urban Light. 

If you want to admire the sumptuous side of the city instead Santa Monica, Beverly Hills and Bel Air, are the best and most fascinating areas.

Grand Canyon National Park

The Grand Canyon is definitely one of the most important natural wonders of the United States and probably the world. A deep and immense gorge, an abyss that divides between two sides, the north and south. A real natural spectacle to take your breath away for its size and grandeur, for its colors and its composition. 

The South Rim is the most touristy part, with many observation points, the best of which is represented by the Desert View, the highest and most fascinating from which to enjoy the view. The North Rim is quieter, taller and less accessible with the possibility of some interesting walks and breathtaking views.

San Francisco

San Francisco is another beautiful city in the United States of America, eclectic, charming, lively and colorful. To experience it to the fullest, you must use the Cable Cars, the traditional trams used by all inhabitants.

Places of interest are absolutely Lombard Street, Coit Tower, the Chinatown of the city and the bay to visit on a cruise. Explore Haight-Ashbury, Fisherman’s Wharf as far as Pier 39, where there is a colony of sea lions, and Alamo Square and the Painted Ladies. 

Visits to the Alcatraz Prison and the Golden Gate Bridge, one of the city’s most famous monuments, are a must.
